On-Farm Competitions

Brown Swiss Australia On-Farm Competitions are held in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland each spring. Competitions are open to all females that are either registered or eligible for registration in the Brown Swiss Australia Herdbook or Appendix.

Unlike conventional livestock judging events, cattle are assessed for their structural correctness on their home property. This unique format means all breeders can compete against the best in their region or state on an equal basis.

Victorian Production Competition

Held each year, the Brown Swiss Australia Production Competition is open to all Victorian Brown Swiss members. The competition is judged remotely and based solely on verified production figures over a 365 day period.
